The Adelaide Street Circuit hosts the Australian MotoGP Grand Prix from 2027 and brings premier motorcycle racing directly into the heart of South Australia’s capital. The temporary city circuit runs through parkland areas close to downtown Adelaide and creates a unique urban race weekend atmosphere.
For MotoGP, the circuit will measure 4.195 km and feature 17 turns, making it longer and more flowing than both the former Formula 1 layout (3.8 km, 16 corners) and the current Supercars configuration (3.2 km, 14 corners). A redesigned section between Turns 7 and 8 replaces the tight right-angle streets of Adelaide’s eastern CBD with a faster, sweeping sequence better suited to modern grand prix motorcycles.
Changes also include a relocated pit lane, which shifts Turn 1 to a hairpin positioned deeper within the parklands. This adjustment reduces the risk of congestion at the start and places a larger proportion of the circuit inside Victoria Park. As a result, only eight of the 18 corners will run directly on public city roads, reinforcing the event’s distinctive blend of urban scenery and parkland racing.
If you hold a grandstand ticket, you access your allocated grandstand through the designated entrance shown on the circuit map. Each grandstand ticket includes a reserved seat, which is clearly indicated on your ticket.
