The Australian Grand Prix will relocate to a brand-new city-centre venue from 2027, as MotoGP heads to the Adelaide Street Circuit under a six-year agreement running until 2032.
After years of racing at the Phillip Island Circuit, the Australian round will take on a completely new character in the heart of Adelaide. Backed by the South Australian Government and the City of Adelaide, the event will mark the first MotoGP Grand Prix held on a modern street circuit.
The Australian Grand Prix at the Adelaide Street Circuit will include the three regular MotoGP classes: MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3. These championships form the standard race programme across the weekend.
Some riders and team members occasionally appear at fan activities and side events. You can find practical tips on where you might meet them and how to behave appropriately when you do here.
It’s always best to arrive early, particularly on race day Sunday, as queues at entrances and transport points are common. You can check the full weekend timetable here to plan your visit.
Motorsport events can be loud, so earplugs are recommended, although not strictly necessary. If you’re attending with children, proper hearing protection is strongly advised.
